We are particularly proud of the new look and feel of the hotel.
The original designs give us the perfect balance between a contemporary feel and the restored original Georgian features of the hotel, using a simple and neutral colour palette.
Within London, The Harlingford is centrally located in an area known as Bloomsbury, an ideal choice for getting the best out of London. Its elegant squares offer a retreat from the urban rush and yet the energy of the city is all around you.
History is all around you in Bloomsbury, an area made famous in the early 20th century by the avant-garde artistic circle known as the 'Bloomsbury Group'.And the hotel buildings themselves have a fascinating past. Originally built as three separate dwellings by master architect and builder James Burton in 1807. They have variously been owned by a Member of Parliament, a retired lieutenant-colonel, a theological tutor and the famous publisher Andrew Chatto - founder of Chatto & Windus.
